One of the most important shrines for the Jain people is the Nasiyan Digambar Jain Temple. The splendid design, of the architecture and beauty of these buildings are in contrast with the finest of Mughal architecture widely seen in Rajasthan. Dedicated to the first Jain Teerthankara, Shri Rishavadeva it is a double story building and has a huge hall in the top level which serves as a display area with artifacts from the ancient world in a Jain perspective. Visit the museum attached to the temple which displays the importance of the Jainism over the centuries. Come here and have a glimpse of the most beautiful attraction here which is the depiction of panorama from a Jainism view where you will see gold plated replicas of all Jain temples of the country. It is said that around 1000 kg gold was used in this making process. Feel the sanctity of the replicas and models of the ancient cities of Ayodhya and Prayag. Take time to admire the beautiful interiors that are decorated with silver balls hanging from the ceiling. The walls and other portions are also done with silver linings and gems. All in all, it a treat to the eyes and a trip to Ajmer cannot end without visiting this place.
