Enter the main fort using the magnificent gates called the Karan Pol and Suraj Pol which is also the main gate. Experience the fine Rajputana art inscribed on these gates and relish the grand and fine work. Don’t forget to see the early sunrise rays fall on the yellow sandstone that makes it glow further. Enjoy the beautiful glass-stained windows and the magnificent gardens of the Karan Mahal or visit the Chandra Mahal to see the royal bedroom which boasts of exotic opulence. A walk in the Phool Mahal or Flower Palace, which is the oldest part of Junagarh Fort, and is built in the Mughal style of architecture having floral patterns on walls and ceilings.
