This open space left by the maharajas of Jaipur was converted into a delightful park in 2006 by the Jaipur Development Authority. Visit for a picnic with family or just spend time here with your friends. The park offers a 5 km long running track and lush gardens. This is one of the large open spaces in Jaipur and is very popular with the locals. It’s not just the strollers or tourists but academicians and researchers on the lookout for many native and migratory birds that come to cool off in the park. Enjoy organized yoga and workout sessions and bust of the lethargy. Photography enthusiasts must carry their cameras and binoculars especially when visiting the park in the morning. The hi-tech nursery and a greenhouse have Indian and foreign variety of bamboo plants is another spectacle to watch out for. A colorful bed of flowers is adorned by foreign aquatic plants that are found in the small ponds. The patriotic spirit is also aroused when you watch the 72 by 28 Feet Indian national flag fluttering in the air. All this and much more and the best part is that the entry is free here to help people make the most of this greenery.
